ebackit accesses files and folders only for the purpose of performing backup and restore operations as configured by the user. No file contents are transmitted externally.

Local Logs

ebackit may generate local logs to assist with troubleshooting. These logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them manually.

Payment Processing

If you purchase ebackit, payments are processed securely by a third-party payment provider. This provider may collect personal information such as your name, email address, billing address, and credit card details for the purpose of completing the transaction.

The developer of ebackit does not receive, store, or process your credit card details, and does not retain your name or email address beyond what is necessary to deliver your license key or receipt.

Operational Event Tracking

The website may send event data about download actions and license flow interactions to the licensing service. The desktop app may send activation and deactivation events tied to license status. These events are used for release and license workflow tracking, not for file-level monitoring.
